ABOUT THE CLUB

The Whakatipu Ski Club is located on Coronet Peak ski area, Queenstown, New Zealand and was established in June 1949. Over the years the club has produced a large number of New Zealand ski team members, New Zealand ski team coaches as well as Olympic skiers...

MEMBERSHIP

We are a non-profit club that relies on members to function. One of the main benefits of membership is the use of the on-mountain day lodge. It is situated just below the base building drop off zone, so an easy walk from the lifts.
With the help of Coronet Peak we offer lessons to our members & during the season have regular BBQ's on the deck.

Whakatipu Ski Club at a Glance

The Whakatipu Ski Club, situated at the base of the field of Coronet Peak in Queenstown, New Zealand, offers subsidised ski & snowboard lessons for children of all abilities (from beginner to advanced). We wish to promote snowsports among local families. Our Club Hut is located just below the Coronet Peak Base building and is a great place to hang out & relax.
